VERNON PARISH, Louisiana (KALB) – On Oct. 30, the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) and Fort Johnson said they were seeking information on a missing soldier, Sgt. David Johnson.

They told Sgt. Johnson was reported absent without leave (AWOL) after failing to report for work on October 29.

Sgt. Johnson is an infantryman assigned to the 1st Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment at Fort Johnson.
