Passengers flying from mainland cities to Zhuhai Airport can now take dedicated buses via the HZMB to reach the transit building in the HKIA restricted area and go directly to the boarding gate to fly to their destinations around the world, thereby better meeting the travel needs of tourists from the continent.

The same service applies in reverse, with people arriving in Hong Kong able to be transferred to mainland cities via HZMB and Zhuhai Airport, without needing to undergo Hong Kong immigration procedures.

The policy not only provides more options for international travel, but also plays an active role in supporting the development of the GBA and the construction of a world-class airport cluster by giving full play to the linkage role of the HZMB and leveraging the complementary resources of Hong Kong and Zhuhai airports.
