AG Henry issues statement on fraudulent registration forms | Berks Regional News

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry released a statement regarding recent allegations of fraudulent voter registration forms that have surfaced in several counties across the state.

The release, released Thursday afternoon, said apparent attempts to submit fraudulent voter registration forms in Berks, Lancaster, Monroe and York counties were discovered and defeated.

The Attorney General’s Office says it is working with respective county officials to investigate and identify those responsible for the fraud.

Officials say they will not release sensitive information about these investigations, but want to clarify that they involve voter registration forms and not ballots.

AG Henry says the safeguards in place in the state are responsible for thwarting these attempts and that investigators are working to ensure a fair, free and secure election for all.

“Investigations are ongoing and violators who committed acts of fraud will be held accountable under the law,” AG Henry said.
