Alexander-Arnold won’t give up on giant gesture because its appeal is deemed too strong

Keith Wyness believes Trent Alexander-Arnold will see joining Real Madrid as a “very attractive opportunity” with the chance to play there “hard to give up”.

Alexander-Arnold appears to be firmly at the top of Real’s right-back list. This is partly due to Dani Carvajal’s injury, which could see him signing in January, and partly due to the fact that his own contract with Liverpool ends this summer, when he could join for free.

Reports vary as to when he is most likely to join us, if the move happens.

But according to Wyness, there’s a good chance that’s the case, with the allure of a club like Real and the life that comes with playing for them, it’s hard to say no.

“My hunch is that Trent decided that Real Madrid was a very attractive opportunity. He will go abroad as a young player after seeing the success others have had with a fantastic lifestyle,” Wyness said. Football Insider.

“I remember selling Thomas Gravesen to Real Madrid – he said it was 85 percent show business and 15 percent football.

“There is a unique attraction to Madrid for young players. Having that on your resume when you retire, it’s hard to pass up that opportunity.
